Bio

Dr. Adrian D. Pantoja is a Professor in Political Studies and Chicano Studies at Pitzer College. 

Prior to his appointment at Pitzer College, Pantoja was a professor at Arizona State University and the University of Connecticut. He received his Ph.D. in political science from the Claremont Graduate University in 2001.Professor Pantoja’s courses and research focuses on the Latino electorate, U.S. immigration policy and American politics. His research has been published in nearly four dozen academic journals and edited volumes. He has written dozens of political blogs and policy reports. He has given over one hundred interviews for major domestic and international media. As a political consultant he worked with the polling firm Latino Decisions, the National Association of Latino Elected Officials, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, the Natural Resources Defense Council, and other advocacy organizations working with the Latino population.
